教授长期从事智能诊疗材料及其生物效应的研究,先后主持国家自然科学基金项目5项,其中面上项目2项;2013年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划,并以优秀等级结题。作为通讯作者在Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Biomaterials,Small,Chen. Sci.,中国科学•化学等国内外权威学术期刊发表与智能诊疗材料相关的高水平学术论文100余篇,其中影响因子超过10的高水平期刊论文20篇,正面他引逾2500余次,个人H因子32。教授2021年入选全球前2%的顶尖科学家(斯坦福发布,World’s Top2% Scientists 2021。作为主要完成人先后获省级科学进步奖特别贡献奖1项;科技进步一等奖1项;自然科学二等奖2项。现任省部共建药用资源化学与药物分子工程国家重点实验室副主任,兼任中国生物材料学会智能材料分会副主任;兼任广西化学化工学会副理事长。
